Rapsodia de la Revelación (Revelation’s Rhapsody)

¿Has alguna vez comenzado a leer el libro de Apocalipsis
solo para sentirte derrotado por el turbulento conjunto de
desconcertantes imágenes: criaturas aladas, bestias, trompetas,

disconcerting images: winged creatures, beasts, trumpets,

I have written in compassion for those who have tried to read,
understand, and apply the book and have given up hope of
be able to understand it.

Have you ever been puzzled by the way
in which some authors, preachers, and teachers use the book to predict the future, from interpreting recent events
of the Middle East until locating the precise date of return
of Christ? Then my book is for you. I write because of
concern of living in an era in which many disciples
of Jesus are obsessed with using the Apocalypse to
know and control the future.

Do you think that the Apocalypse has nothing to do with
your life as a follower of Jesus? So my book of
guidelines for interpreting John’s message is for you.
I write because of my conviction that the message of Revelation
it needs to be heard and obeyed by God’s people.
