Caregiver Resource Set - Providing Guidance for Those Who Provide Care

The other day, I met with a friend who shared about the stresses of caregiving. Between helping with doctor appointments, emotional support, and other daily needs, caregiving has put a lot on her plate. I know my friend is not alone as she wrestles with the duties of caregiving.

There are millions of people in the United States who are serving in some form of caregiving capacity.  Whether it’s caring for elderly family members, young children, or close friends in our churches and communities, caregiving is an important yet draining responsibility. It can be tough to help someone when help is not wanted or it’s rejected. It can also be challenging to balance the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of others while trying to maintain your own.

College Press provides books that are designed to help caregivers navigate this important role. These books combine the practical and spiritual aspects of caregiving so that caregivers can have a sense of clarity and guidance as they fulfill their responsibilities. While there is no one-size-fits-all solution for the challenges that caregivers face, these books will ask the right questions so that caregivers can make the best decisions to fit their specific situation.

If you're serving in a caregiving role, I hope these books will be of encouragement and support to you.
