Feminism and biblical feminism must be addressed when considering the role of women in the church of the 21st century. Understanding the debate is essential. Only through the exposition of God’s Word can we begin to lay a foundation to resolve this conflicting issue of our day. What Does the Bible Teach About Gender Roles? Is there a difference as seen in Scripture? How do we understand Paul's statement, "neither male nor female?" Does the Bible teach egalitarianism? This work is about feminism. It is an examination and evaluation of how Biblical feminism interprets and uses the Bible to support its view of gender roles. Understanding the debate over Biblical feminism is essential to answering the questions about the role of women in the church. No one can take the debate over feminism seriously without facing the following questions: Are the feminists correct? Does the Bible indeed teach egalitarianism or hierarchicalism?
