Real Life Downloaded

Real Life Downloaded is designed to provide suplement lessons to your Bible-In-Life Teacher's Guide. This optional download allows the teacher to tailor the lessons to the current events happening today. Some weeks a news story will be grabbed from today’s headlines. Other weeks, off-limits subjects that have never been covered in Sunday school will be used! Or current movies and MTV will be run through a Christian lifestyle grid. It's all about showing kids how the timeless truths of the Bible applies to what's going on in their lives right now.

You may notice the teaching material refers to the ministerial staff as "pastor." If you would rather not use this term, please substitute "minister" or "preacher" or a term with which you feel comfortable.

For assistance in dealing with questions about salvation, please refer to the inside back cover of the Teacher's Guide.

College Press does not agree with the way Cook presents the salvation process. You will notice that when Cook describes a person coming to salvation, faith is the only element presented as necessary. We would encourage you to include repentance, confession, and baptism when discussing how a person receives salvation.
