About the Author...

Gene Rogers received his B.A. and M.A. from Pepperdine University, Malibu, California. For forty-two years he has been the minister of the Normandie Avenue Christian Church in Gardena, California, a multiethnic, multiracial, inner city congregation in Los Angeles County. The church currently supports three of their families on the mission field and is presently "mothering" a Latino congregation. Rogers has had twenty-six articles published in the Christian Standard and has written five booklets entitled Christianity Is Christ, Acts of the Lesser Apostles, The Gospel of Grace, An Adult Version of the Christmas Story, and The Commitment That Brings New Life.
