Encounters With Christ - CLEARANCE

This captivating book about Jesus introduces every person he encountered, starting with his early years with the temple teachers, to his final words to whoever was listening, “It is finished.” The result of each encounter is traced, with application prompts for our own encounter with Christ.

This gripping book listens in on conversations with friends, seekers, enemies, outcasts and sick people – each time hearing a powerful call to personal commitment. A refreshing view of this centuries-old text. Plus 30 supplemental studies.

Designed brief enough for personal devotions, yet lengthy enough for class and small group studies.

Have you had an encounter with Christ? Did that encounter change your life?

When you encounter Christ, you encounter an invitation to change. This is the power of the Person of Christ, the power of the "Good News," the power that today, still bids us to come. Wedded with this invitation to come is the call to "take his yoke upon you." It's time to go to work. The mission of Christ, our commission, "must become the marching orders of every disciple who has had an encounter with Christ." Encounters with Christ will introduce each person that met Jesus, trace the result of that encounter, and help you navigate through your own encounter with him.

Mark Moore has written this book to give us a deeper understanding of Jesus' teaching through these meetings and to provide us a fresh view of how this centuries-old text still challenges us to a deeper commitment with our heavenly Father.
