Bible-In-Life

College Press Curriculum:

Bible-in-Life Curriculum is designed with destination in mind…to take your students on a journey that leads them to a life transformed in Jesus. The road map is the Bible. The curriculum itself is the means of transportation to get your students there. Come along with us and experience the ride as students of every age find joy in discovering brand new life in the pages of God’s Word!

College Press Bible-in-Life Curriculum keeps the Bible as its central focus with meaningful activities for everyone of every age. The Bible study component of every lesson is second to none. Students come away having captured the message from God’s Word.

--Current events, trends, and culture to make it RELEVANT for today

--Assignments to CHALLENGE students to live out God’s Word.

Important Note:

College Pres Publishing works together with Cook Ministries in a page-by-page edit of the Sunday school materials for the Christian Churches and Churches of Christ.

There are three principle areas edited:

  1. The Doctrine of Salvation—stressing obedience to Christ in Christian baptism by immersion not included in the Cook material.
  2. The Theological Viewpoint—such as original sin, total depravity, eternal security, and others appear in the unedited material. College Press edits these elements out of the material where appropriate.
  3. Denominational Phrasing—Ministerial titles, denominational wording, and other practices which may not be acceptable to the majority of Christian Churches have been changed or deleted (i.e. “Denominational Headquarters,” or “your church’s creed”).

You will find security in knowing your church is receiving material edited specifically for the Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. Salvation material is not ignored and doctrinal issues are presented without the need for further explanation. You receive a greater amount of Bible for your students across the board with life-changing activities used within the lesson and throughout the week.
